MyFact

Dashboard and cash flow forecasts built on your real figures

Knowing what you can spend takes three answers: what is in the account, what is already owed, and what is coming in. The Reports module works them out from what you already have in MyFact — statements, invoices, quotes and expenses — with no re-entry. Four screens: dashboard, income and expenses, VAT and provisions, forecasts.

How it works

  • You import your statements in the Finance module: cash and forecasts start from them
  • You pick the account and the period; every figure on the screen follows that filter
  • You fill in your provision settings once (VAT filing, tax regime, contributions), prefilled and marked “to check”
  • The dashboard separates today's position from the period's activity, compared with the same period last year
  • Forecasts project your inflows and outflows over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months, and you add scenarios on top

The dashboard: today and the period

“Today” shows cash rebuilt from your statements, what to set aside, cash after provisions, receivables and your runway in months. “Activity” follows the chosen period: revenue, expenses, result and cash collected.

Alerts flag a projected balance dropping below your safety threshold, an upcoming VAT return, invoices more than 30 days overdue, accepted quotes not yet invoiced, or a client carrying a large share of your revenue.

VAT estimates and provisions

The VAT and provisions screen shows output and input VAT by rate, net VAT for the period and your filing schedule. Provisions are based on French rules: corporate income tax estimated on the result to date, micro-entrepreneur contributions, the local business tax (CFE) and your own lines. The table exports to XLSX or CSV.

What you get

  • Cash after provisions: what is left once VAT, taxes and contributions are set aside
  • Operating income and expenses, kept apart from capital contributions, loans and dividends that only move the balance
  • A cash view or a fiscal-year view, so that last year's charge paid this year does not distort the result
  • Up to three scenarios compared side by side: hiring, rent, investment, loan, change in inflows, conversion of quotes sent
  • A list of what your data is missing (expenses without receipt or category, unreconciled transactions), each line leading to the screen where you fix it

Good to know

  • These are estimates, not tax returns: the screen replaces neither your VAT return nor your accountant
  • No currency conversion: every total stays in its currency, and the chosen account sets the currency of the screen
  • The dashboard and forecasts need at least one bank account fed with statements
  • Prefilled rates must be checked and updated with each finance act; outside France, no rate is suggested

FAQ

Where do the figures come from?

From what you already entered or imported: bank statements, invoices, quotes, expenses. Nothing is copied aside, so a corrected document shows up in the reports straight away.

Can the VAT estimate be used as a return?

No. It reflects what your documents carry and estimates what to set aside. A past due date is assumed paid. The return remains yours, or your accountant’s.

How are cash flow forecasts calculated?

From your statements, VAT included: they are inflows and outflows, not revenue. MyFact starts from your averages, accounts for the seasonality of past months, and replaces the average with expected invoices when they weigh more.

What if my accounts are in several currencies?

Each screen works in one currency, that of the chosen account. MyFact keeps no exchange rate table and never adds two currencies together.

Are reports included in the free plan?

Yes. All four screens are open to every plan, the free one included.
