When does French e-invoicing become mandatory?
Since 1 September 2026, every VAT-registered business in France must be able to receive electronic invoices. From that same date, large and mid-sized companies must also issue them. Small and micro businesses have until 1 September 2027 to issue theirs.
What is an accredited platform, and why do I need one?
An accredited platform is a private company registered by the French State, through which electronic invoices travel. MyFact relies on Seqino, the accredited platform of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa: your invoices are sent and received through it, with nothing extra to set up.
What is the Factur-X format?
Factur-X is a hybrid invoice: a PDF a human can read, carrying the same data as XML inside, which software can read. It is the format MyFact sends by default, so a single file covers both needs.
What is e-reporting, and does it concern me?
E-reporting is the transmission to the tax authority of transaction data that does not travel as a business-to-business invoice: sales to consumers, international operations, and payment data for services. MyFact reports them from the documents you already issue.
How much does MyFact cost?
Three plans: Discovery at €0 to try it out, Sole trader at €5.99 per month and Small business at €9.99 per month, with unlimited documents, clients and electronic invoice sending. Paying yearly costs less, and you can cancel at any time.
Is there a free trial?

Is my data protected?
Your documents are encrypted and hosted in the European Union, and your account can be protected with two-factor authentication. MyFact is GDPR compliant: you can export your data or request its deletion from your workspace.
Can I bring my existing invoices over?
Yes. You can import past invoices as PDFs: MyFact reads them and creates the matching documents, which you review before validating. Your clients can also be imported from a file.
